Tourist Travel Requirements for a Namibia Visa for Australian Citizens

  1. Visa On Arrival

    A visa for a stay of up to 30 days is available on arrival for a small variable fee. The traveller must:

    • Enter via one of the following ports: Walvis Bay International Airport, Hosea Kutako International Airport, Trans-Kalahari Border Post, Oranjemund Border Post, Noordover Boarder Post, Katima Mulilo Border Post, Impalila Island Border Post, Ngoma Border Post, Mohembo Border Post or Oshikango Border post.
    • Hold a passport valid for at least six months beyond date of entry with three blank visa pages
    • Hold proof of onward and return flights
    • Hold proof of sufficient funds
    • Hold proof of hotel confirmation
    • Hold proof of insurance
    • Hold all documents required for the next destination

  2. Do I have to send you my passport to get a Namibia visa? Is it safe to send a passport?

    Yes. You will need to send your actual passport, not a copy of it. The Namibia visa is stamped on your passport and will become one of your passport pages.
